[Kobjakova & Dolgopolskaya, 1969, p. 289]. In the Black Sea it avoids  brackish water and inhabits littoral and sublittoral zones from Tarkhankut Cape to Caucasus.  [Makarov, 2004, p. 335].  Size of carapace. 15,5 x 12,5 mm, male.
